The SMS2 carries forward the 20-year legacy of the original Mini Red Dot, now re-engineered for the modern world.

Crafted from nylon glass-filled polymer, the SMS2 offers the choice between a hard-dipped acrylic lens or a crystal-clear glass lens for enhanced scratch resistance, ensuring it stands up to the rigors of everyday shooting. Its iconic low-profile design allows shooters to co-witness with standard iron sights, thanks to the unobtrusive frame and rear iron sight notch.

Staying true to SHIELD’s philosophy, the SMS2 eliminates the unnecessary, giving shooters just one clear point of focus. There are no oversized sight housings obstructing your vision, no dimmed lenses, no distracting buttons, and no backup sights interfering with your line of sight. Designed to sit as close to the bore-line as possible, the SMS2 aligns naturally with how a trained shooter presents their pistol, ensuring a smooth transition and an enhanced, intuitive shooting experience.

  • Utilizes SHIELD’s patented mechanism, enabling co-witnessing with standard iron sights, considerably reducing training times and costs.
  • The mechanism uses no click adjustment, making it infinitely more accurate when zeroing.
  • Available in a D-shaped hard-dipped acrylic lens or a crystal-clear glass lens with no filters to disturb the image of the world through the sight.
  • Crafted from reinforced nylon glass-filled polymer
  • Weighing only 11.4g (battery excluded).
  • Auto brightness adjustment, so it can always be on and ready.
